We enjoy a church service every Sunday. We do not have our own vicar at present so many of these services are lay led. For Holy Communion services we are very grateful to members of the clergy who join us to officiate.

As a congregation we are very hands on and welcome all members who would like to take part:

READING
Reading the lesson, the gospel or prayers.
- there are two lessons and one gospel read from the lecturn
- prayers are read by congregation members from the pews

PLAYING THE ORGAN or PIANO
Maybe you are a musician and would like to join our merry band of organists and pianists. The standard is varied - from Lynn, a concert pianist of international repute to the self taught enthusiasts!
- four hymns per service - organist/pianist can choose the hymns
- music of your choice at the start and end of the service
Now we have a choir we are starting to add anthems and more singing within the service - so if you become a regular player it would be good to add some of these to your repertoire!

CHOIR

We are very excited to have a newly formed choir - with already twelve members±
Rehearsals are:
- 9.00am before the 2nd service of the month.
- 9.00am before the 3rd service of the month - during which a choir anthem is sung
We hope you can come to most rehearsals but understand this is a bit hit and miss for most of us!
So far it is working well and we sing the anthem with whoever is there that week - God will provide!

And thank you to the team for after service tea and coffee and Su’s delicious home made cakes and biscuits.
Always a real highlight!

If you are interested in any of the above please feel free to ask a church warden or any member of the congregation who seems a likely person able to help. We look forward to welcoming you into the team!
