Six Young Musicians will play and sing 10-minute programmes, for the chance to win the title of BMCS Young Musician, and £200. This will be adjudicated by the internationally acclaimed
Paul Harris: clarinettist, composer, author and adjudicator.

Please come and support the next generation of musicians!

We will also be treated to a performance by 16-year-old violinist Joshua Tan, who won the 2025 competition. Stratford-based Joshua studies the violin with Francesca Barritt at the Royal Academy of Music, Junior Department. He has recently played at the BBC Proms as part of the National Youth Orchestra, and looks forward to starting Sixth Form at KES.

Entry is free; there will be an opportunity to make a donation for refreshments and as a retiring collection to continue the work of BMCS.
